NOTICE is hereby given if the Secretary of State orders a manual recount in the US Senate, the Governor, the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture, and or any other race before 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018, the Liberty County Canvassing Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018, to conduct the recount. If the recount is ordered after 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15, 2018, the recount shall commence at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16, 2018. The recount, if ordered will occur at the following location:


Liberty County Courthouse

2nd floor, Courtroom

10818 NW State Road 12

Bristol, FL 32321

The recount will be open to the public.


Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal decisions made at this recount, they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose they need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.


Persons with disabilities requiring reasonable accommodations to participate should call the Supervisor of Elections Office at 850-643-5226, at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
