Lake Mystic - Precinct No. 4 has been moved to the Veteran's Memorial Civic Center effective this Primary Election, August 26, 2008. Lake Mystic voters should go to the rear entrance of the civic center to gain access to the polling room located in the conference room.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A POLL WORKER?
If you are interested in working at the polls, please contact our office at 643-5226. Each poll has a clerk, inspectors, equipment operator & a deputy. The pay scale varies for each position according to the level of responsibility. You must be able to perform the following in order to work at the polls:
* Receive training before each election. (3 to 7 hours depending on the position.)
* Must be able to work from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 8:00 p.m.
* Physical requirements include standing, bending, stooping, lifting @ 30 lbs, normal vision & manual/physical dexterity.
* Read & write the English language
* Possess the skills to use an alphabetized index in the precinct register. (Clerks & Inspectors)
